The usability of TruckMaker/HIL to reconstruct driving maneuvers and test scenarios is extremely simple. You only have to give your IPGDriver your driving and maneuver instructions and he will carry them out instantly.

Maximum accuracy for demanding test tasks
TruckMaker meets the most exacting accuracy demands: in real-time HiL truck simulations as well as in the faster Office version. Extensive parameter studies are processed very fast and at high precision as well. TruckMaker has impressively proved this during the successful validation for ECE 13/11 homologation of the Haldex EB+ braking system. Since the roughly 1,000 drive tests were completely transferred to simulation the amount of required time was significantly reduced. Based on these simulation results the KBA (German Federal Motor Transport Authority) awarded the certification.

Concrete examples: Maneuver and event-based testing
The maneuver-based testing method of TruckMaker optimally supports virtual test driving. As in the real test drive you assign actions to the mini-maneuvers such as driver activities, system interventions or failure insertions. With the interactive maneuver control you are able to reconstruct even the toughest use cases. The combination of open-loop and closed loop mini-maneuvers in the longitudinal and lateral direction are easy to realize (s. examples).
