CarMaker User Conference 2006
On June 1-2, 2006 the first CarMaker User Conference from IPG Automotive was held in Karlsruhe. More than 60 participants from the automotive industry took this opportunity to share their experience about the application of the CarMaker product family during the different stages of the development process.
16 expert users gave comprehensive insights into their work with CarMaker. From the model-based design approach through to the final test for series production - the broad spectrum of subjects of these presentations demonstrated that the CarMaker product family is seamlessly integrated in the development process of our customers.
An exhibition accompanying the conference displayed innovations in the CarMaker product family. For the first time, IPG presented the 1:1-porting of CarMaker to the dSPACE hardware platform. In cooperation with AVL, they demonstrated the interface between CarMaker and the optimization tool Cameo. Furthermore the IPG partner TÜV SÜD Automotive exhibited their highly accurate track and wheel data that will soon be integrated into the models of CarMaker.
The participants rated the entire event highly. They especially appreciated the sharing of experience with their colleagues and the quality of the presentations given.
