Flexible and modular

Which truck is yours?

The truck and trailer models of TruckMaker 3.0 are capable of real-time performance and valid up to the limits of driving dynamcis. You can flexibly combine the models to test your range of variants.

Their bodies are modeled as multi-body systems (MBS) which are fully non-linear and extendable. The MBS models form the core model and integration platform for all other sub-components such as suspensions, steering systems, tires, brake system, drivetrain and aerodynamics. The models are arranged manageably in terms of the individual sub-assemblies and can be modified or exchanged for in-house models within Simulink and/or on a C code level. The parameterization can be done via a graphical user interface. Afterwards you can validate the parameters of single subsystems using the Model Check functionality.

Key benefits
  • Axles configurable with single or twin tires
  • Variable parameterization of the hitch system (ball and bar coupling, fifth wheel)
  • Driving cabin suspension
  • Flexible truck and trailer body: Torsion and bending compliance
  • Configurable load situations (fixed or moving loads)
  • Retarder model
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic braking model for ABS/ESP
  • All special suspension types for truck and trailer:

rigid, steerable, driven and lift axles
  • Different powertrain variants (4x2, 4x4, 6x2, 6x4, 6x6,...)
