IPG is now offering its FailSafeTester as a standalone product for inclusion with arbitrary test systems, such as National Instruments Labview, Vector CANoe, dSPACE.

By offering the FailSafeTester as a stand-alone product, IPG now give those engineers who are testing control systems within their own testing environments the option to integrate the FailSafeTester and perform extensive and comprehensive fault insertion tests on their electronic and electrical systems.

CarMaker 2.1 now includes several generalized vehicle parameter data sets which represent many of the standard vehicle classes (mini / compact / mid-sized / luxury / SUV, van).

A major component of the new release 2.1 of the CarMaker product family is the new version of MotorcycleMaker.
