Taking you to the next level - Open House 2011

Impressions of the Open House 2011

More than 100 attendees from about 50 OEMs and suppliers in the automotive sector experienced new dimensions in virtual test driving at our Open House on March 1, 2011 which was focused on the latest version of CarMaker 3.5 Release.

From conventional vehicle dynamics to chassis control systems through to the development of advanced driver assistance systems and solutions in the field of energy management: The CarMaker 3.5 Release now offers even more efficiency – in terms of time and costs – plus user friendliness across the entire vehicle development process.

The innovations around CarMaker 3.5 met with very positive response by attendees of the Open House: The steering model, for instance, which provides very realistic steering and driving “feel,” is particularly well suited for demanding development tasks such as driver assistance systems with active steering recommendation, or the new navigation link, Navigation-in-the-Loop, which creates the prerequisites for the development of map-based driver assistance systems and predictive energy strategies. But also the sophisticated driver model, IPGDriver, with its new possibilities such as Follow-to-Car behavior or the execution of various driving strategies, ranging from fuel-saving through to aggressive driving styles, marked highlights of the event.
