Conduct-by-Wire - An Integrated Concept for Maneuver-Based Driver Assistance


Can a vehicle in normal day-to-day traffic situations be conducted without continuous stabilization inputs but strictly by maneuver commands? The Department for Vehicle Engineering (FZD) and the Institute for Industrial Science (IAD) of TU Darmstadt are exploring this question as part of the Conduct-by-Wire research project
