The view inside
The Open House 2009 enjoyed great popularity: Over 50 partners and customers from international companies traveled to Karlsruhe/Durlach to gain insight into the actual and prospective future of CarMaker, TruckMaker, XPack4 and many new advanced functionalities.
The key issues of the event were the presentations of the new features and improvements of TruckMaker and CarMaker 3.0: the new Testmanager and fuel efficiency functions, the model library, advanced real-time performance and the new IPGDriver are only examples of the wide range of mentionable highlights.
IPG representatives introduced also current topics like new advanced driver assistance systems, classic vehicle dynamics and controls and the new realtime hardware.
Live Sessions in the afternoon delivered a deeper insight into the new developed areas and offered an open platform for communication between IPG and the participants. There was enough space for discussions about wishes, suggestions, experience and information in the fields of application, which were as important as the presentations themselves.
We would like to thank all participants for taking part in the IPG Open House 2009 and hope to meet them again at the Technology Conference in 2010.
